For Spring/Summer 2027, Umit Benan returned with a collection that felt lighter and more playful than Spring/Summer 2026, with brighter colours, softer layering and a mood that never felt too dressed up.

A softly structured double-breasted suit in deep taupe-brown set the tone, carrying the essence of classic menswear through an elongated jacket, broad but relaxed shoulders, and wide trousers that pooled with cinematic weight. It was power dressing after the boardroom had been removed from the equation.

That same idea continued through Benan’s more casual pieces. A sand-camel chore jacket worn with matching pleated trousers turned utility into something polished. The look borrowed from workwear, but the tonal styling and crisp fabric made it feel more like a relaxed summer suit. Elsewhere, a checked shirt with a knit wrapped around the waist introduced a more personal story. It had the feeling of a man dressing by instinct, building character through texture, gesture, and familiar pieces.

A pink collared knit, grounded by dark wide-leg trousers, softened the masculinity of the tailoring without making it fragile. A pale yellow outer layer, loose and almost robe-like, brought in a sun-washed optimism, sitting somewhere between resort dressing and old-world leisure.

The richness, however, was in the making. Benan’s luxury comes from how cloth behaves on the body, from fine wools treated with the softness of jersey to silks that appear light but still feel substantial and denim developed until it reaches the exact hand he wants. The clothes gain their force through that perfectionism, where a jacket, shirt, or pair of jeans feels ordinary at first glance, then reveals its value through weight, touch, and wear.

What makes Spring/Summer 2027 compelling is that it understands pleasure as serious design. Benan is refining a world where tailoring can breathe, color can charm, and luxury is measured by how long a feeling stays with you.
