Femininity, minimalism, and a sense of lightness shape Jason Wu’s Spring 2027 collepatterns,Salon. Sheer fabrics, delicate patterns and simple cuts give much of it a pared-back appearance, while generous coats and full skirts provide some of its most appealing silhouettes. The pink coat and its black counterpart are particularly beautiful, with rounded sleeves, broad bodies and simple button fronts that make the lustrous quilted floral jacquard all the more noticeable.

A black sleeveless shirtdress combines angular shoulders with a fitted bodice and pleated midi skirt, balancing a sharply defined upper half with fullness below. A lace-trimmed cropped cardigan adds a little flirtation, exposing the waist and emphasizing the full skirt beneath it.

The black corset and wide-leg trousers are particularly convincing, pairing a top that follows the torso before curving over the hips with plain trousers that offset its glossy floral surface. Their broad legs emphasize the closely fitted waist, giving the outfit a distinct silhouette with just two pieces.

Tiny blooms scattered across an ivory sleeveless dress add to the collection’s delicate appearance, its simple shape keeping the pattern clear. A loose blouse and matching trousers offer a more relaxed interpretation, with an extended panel falling down one side of the top. Broad straps frame the navy dress’s pale flowers, while a pink strapless version follows the waist and hips more closely, giving the floral motif two distinct silhouettes.

Sheer layers reinforce that visual lightness, with yellow lingerie adding warmth beneath a short organza dress. An emerald lace T-shirt and matching midi skirt work especially well, their straightforward shapes keeping attention on the lace and the body visible beneath it. A green sleeveless sheath introduces a denser, raised texture, bringing more detail to an otherwise simple cut.

Eveningwear expands the volume, with a black strapless gown opening into a broad skirt and a sheer high-neck top sitting above a long skirt that flares towards the floor. Richly textured surfaces continue through the final pale slip dress and black gown. 

Spring 2026 offered more visual complexity, with overlapping panels, uneven hems and trailing fabric strips shaping its corseted dresses, sheer layers and deconstructed tailoring. Collage-like prints and raw edges gave the clothes an unfinished appearance that made the collection more intriguing. Spring 2027 retains the fitted bodices and generous volume, but its delicate florals, lace and simpler cuts create a lighter, more feminine impression. The smaller collection offers fewer surprises, yet remains beautiful, with the pink coat and corset with trousers leaving the strongest impression.
