Simkhai’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection played between urban luxe and shoreline chic. The collection carried that duality, sculptural yet fluid, grounded yet light, while threading in something more intimate, almost autobiographical. 

The opener, a sheer lace dress scattered with delicate floral appliqué, set the romantic, coastal, and sensual mood. Sheer became the throughline: a gradient-beaded gown, an open crochet dress, and a whisper-thin knit tank. When things risked floating away, earth-toned coats with a suede-like finish pulled them back down. Some of the womenswear's best moments came in a bandage-style bodice paired with a silk skirt—tight above, airy below. It’s a piece begging for a red-carpet run, the kind that balances restriction with release. 

Menswear is less fluid but still speaks the same language. Open-knit tanks nodded to the sheer narrative, while an ivory bomber and textured shirting leaned into subtle grace. The navy co-ord felt like a clean summer uniform—simple, sharp, and functional. On the other hand, the leather tux was sleek and almost defiant against the collection’s breezier energy. 

Still, part of us wanted Simkhai to push further on the men’s side. Imagine a bandage-style blazer—a structural experiment to match the womenswear’s risk-taking. But maybe that’s the point. The Simkhai man isn’t the Simkhai woman. He’s not meant to mirror her but to hold his own in a subtler register.
