Sankuanz Spring / Summer 2025 collection is a masterclass in cultural fusion and sartorial exploration, where the boundaries of fashion are blurred with bold yet refined precision. The collection has an eclectic spirit that balances tradition with modernity through its innovative use of textiles and silhouttes. 

Picture oversize blazers with raw hem finishes; their intentional ruggedness contrasts with the sharp tailoring Sankuanz is known for. The unfinished edges add a touch of rebellion, which suggests a narrative where garments evolve with the wearer. This concept was echoed in the denim skirts, which also feature raw hems, creating a cohesive narrative across the collection.

One piece that stands out for its cultural reference is the blazer, styled in a way that reflects traditional Tibetan dressing. The collection also includes a gold sleeveless top with a mandarin collar and subtle floral prints. This piece straddles the line between elegance and casual wear, making it a versatile addition to any wardrobe. There was also an ultra-wide leg trousers, which added drama to the collection; its voluminous silhouette offered a modern take on classic tailoring, allowing for both movement and style. 

However, not all pieces blend seamlessly. The tartan kimono top, while beautifully crafted, feels slightly out of sync with the rest of the collection. Its traditional Japanese influence clashes with the more rugged, deconstructed elements seen elsewhere. Though this kimono concept reappears in a denim jacket, it feels more at home, merging effortlessly with the collection’s raw, unfinished aesthetic. 

The shirt dress, which features an innovative cape-like design, adds an edgy twist to the collection, adding a layer of complexity. Camouflage patterns were also present in the collection, injecting a military appeal that adds another element to the collection. Its utilitarian vibe enhances the collection’s exploration of different cultures and styles. 

Lastly, the modernized suit, presented in all black, offers a sleek and sophisticated option, though its minimalist approach contrasts with the more playful, experimental designs. The all-white silky ensemble and white coat that looks like a hanfu are the best pieces in the collection. It’s simple. It’s beautiful.
