Pomandère’s Autumn–Winter 2026/27 collection, Wandering Soul, treats movement as a state of mind, shaped by the restlessness of a woman who knows how to leave, how to return, and how to dress for the space in between.

That idea appears immediately in the olive velvet set, where loungewear is shaped into something almost monastic. The silhouette falls long and columnar, with the shirt and wide trousers moving as one continuous line from shoulder to floor. Its pajama references are clear in the collarless neckline, patch pocket, loose sleeve, and knotted waist, but nothing feels sleepy. The velvet catches light in a muted, almost private way, giving the look depth without asking for attention.

A slouched camel cardigan, worn off the shoulder with bare legs and olive socks, could have tipped into fragility or sentiment. Instead, it feels knowingly undone, like an old-Hollywood-at-home image stripped of glamour and returned to the body. A boxy black leather vest worn over an ivory blouse and high-waisted leather trousers then introduces a more armored silhouette, compact and protective above, loose and elongated below. It brings the aviator and sailor references into the present, using them as ideas of movement, protection, and escape. The leather gives the look structure, while the blouse softens it, leaving something guarded but still deeply feminine.

A sweeping chocolate coat moves behind the body with the drama of a cape, but the styling keeps it grounded through wide trousers, a coffee cup, a newspaper, and the anonymity of a morning street. Brown becomes important here, replacing black’s formality with something warmer, suggesting luxury that has been handled and absorbed into routine.

A camel double-breasted blazer layered over check and stripe carries the confidence of menswear without its stiffness. A cropped beige blouson worn over a full pleated skirt brings workwear and femininity into careful balance, sharpened by tall boots and cut through with a green scarf. Across the collection, proportion does the real storytelling, with broad shoulders set against softened waists, long hems against bare skin, and utility against tenderness.

Brushed knit, wool-cashmere, leather, flannel, velvet, and dense overcoat cloth give Wandering Soul its private luxury. This is a collection about clothes that travel not because they chase escape but because they understand how a woman moves through the world when she belongs first to herself.
