For Spring/Summer 2027, MCM treats minimalism as a clean surface for movement, branding and colour, allowing each detail to come through without overwhelming the look. Founded in Munich in 1976, MCM has long been tied to travel, logo leather and luxury in motion. Here, that heritage is not simply carried by the bags, but filtered through clothes built for airport lounges, city pavements and summer evenings.

A floral jacket cropped above wide black trousers makes the point quickly, creating a top-light, bottom-heavy silhouette that feels relaxed without becoming shapeless. The print could have leaned sweet, but against the dark base it becomes sharper and more graphic, while the tote and chains pull the look back to ownership, transit and display.

That same idea carries into the camp-collar shirt, where resort codes are cleaned up and given a luxury charge through orange patterning and a neon-handled barrel bag, giving leisure a sharper, more intentional shape. The stronger moments come when MCM hardens the mood. A padded black jacket with long shorts gives the collection an urban blockiness, broken by a blue patch that reads like a private symbol. The olive leather jacket, cropped and broad through the shoulder, lands with more force when worn with wide denim, a burgundy polo, and a matching duffel, turning travel wear into a city uniform built for movement and purpose. 

The ivory suit shifts the collection into summer tailoring but avoids boardroom stiffness. The cropped blue polo breaks the formality, exposing the waist and making the suit feel younger. Later, the black graphic T-shirt and long shorts bring streetwear into the same system, with the olive tote acting almost like a signature passport.

By the final burgundy polo and ivory trousers, MCM has found its rhythm in clean lines, relaxed volume, small shocks of color, and bags that do not decorate the clothes so much as explain them.
