Chimi, the Swedish eyewear label, has established itself within fashion's most discerning circles, appearing with increasing frequency on the streets outside runway shows and among a generation that approaches style through cultural fluency. That philosophy traces back to the brand's origins. Childhood friends Daniel Djurdjevic and Charlie Lindström founded CHIMI after recognizing a simple truth: the best sunglasses are rarely replaced because they are worn out. They are replaced because they become indispensable. Years after breaking a favorite pair, Lindström found himself searching for the same silhouette again. His wardrobe had changed, but his attachment to that shape remained. It was a reminder that the right frame becomes a permanent part of a person's wardrobe.
