Francesca Levi’s collection positions fashion as a meeting point between tailoring, textile art, and the visible hand of the maker. Rather than treating embellishment as decoration, the garments use surface work to alter the identity of each piece. Jackets, outerwear, and tailored forms become canvases for painting, appliqué, trim, stones, and color, turning familiar wardrobe shapes into singular objects with a deeply personal character while remaining grounded in wearability.

Levi’s strongest pieces balance structure with intervention, using clean shoulders, direct cuts, elongated jackets, cropped proportions, and dark bases to give the surface details discipline and visual weight. Painted lines, floral gestures, raised trims, and three-dimensional details move the garments closer to collectible design than seasonal dressing, while still keeping them connected to the body.

The first standout look, a long black jacket worn with wide trousers, gives the collection its most composed statement through an elongated silhouette, while the gold-painted surface turns the garment into a moving canvas. The floral work across the back is especially strong, expanding the jacket beyond tailoring and into pictorial craft.

The second key look, a cropped pinstriped jacket worn with a black top and dark denim, brings that same language into a sharper, more urban tone. The embellished placket, decorated cuffs, and floral appliqué soften the menswear base and make the piece feel personal, almost collected over time.

What makes Levi’s collection convincing is its refusal to separate art from use, with handmade, individual, and visually assertive garments that remain connected to daily life. They suggest a wearer drawn to craft, color, and objecthood, someone who understands clothing not as a symbol of status but as evidence of taste, touch, and imagination.
