Los Angeles-based label FourTwoFour on Fairfax, also known as 424, has been quietly refining a new kind of luxury streetwear for a while now. Founded by Guillermo Andrade, the brand has earned a cult following for its hybrid take on modern menswear—fusing workwear, art, and social commentary through a distinctly West Coast lens. With its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, 424 steps further into its lane, retooling wardrobe staples with a confident hand and an eye on both tradition and subversion.

This season, Andrade’s label offered a series of coordinated looks, leaning heavily on relaxed tailoring, textural juxtapositions, and a strong narrative backbone. From the first look alone, you get the sense that 424 isn’t interested in chasing hype. Instead, the brand is building a visual language rooted in workwear silhouettes, reinterpreted through LA's culture and the grit of its urban sprawl.

Striped ensembles opened the show, followed by a pristine white coat that somehow looked both clinical and romantic, reimagining menswear tropes without overworking them. A sheer, sky-blue plaid shirt appeared down the runway, adding a pinch of delicate moments to the collection. Graphic tees featuring religious iconography, most notably the Our Lady of Guadalupe, served as a nod to the cultural intersections that shape LA’s visual landscape.

Some of the best pieces included a washed-denim moto jacket and jeans set, finished in a hazy azure tone that felt like staring up at the sky. The colour alone made it a seasonal hero, but the structure of the jacket gave it bite—a perfect tension between stiffness and ease, form and fluidity.

Deep burgundy jackets and trousers injected a touch of evening formality, while a dusty pink bomber landed unexpectedly but didn’t feel out of place. It echoed their knack for placing seemingly contradictory elements in harmony—like the long-hair shearling Johan trench from the Fall 2024 lineup. 

424 is building an archive and quietly challenging what streetwear can be when filtered through craft and context. They are carving out space for nuanced, forward-thinking design. And frankly, it’s working.
