Back at 2024, Beauregard re-entered the fair with a watch that didn’t sit in the usual perimeter of novelty. The piece had already been circulating in conversations around collectors and ateliers, but here it was placed into full view again. The construction carries the imprint of Alexandre Beauregard, under a direction that treats jewelry and horology as a single field.

Collaborative Mechanical Core

The collaboration with Vianney Halter is the structural pivot; Halter’s mechanical language is present, and it sits inside the watch rather than speaking over it. The result is Ulysse, a first men’s collection that functions as a continuation of an idea already underway across both practices rather than a standalone departure.

Case Dial Expression

The case in 18K rose gold carries a contained weight, sitting low with edges that avoid overt emphasis. Its surface shifts between matte warmth and polished reflection as the wrist moves, while the silhouette holds an Art Deco proportion softened by a marine undertone that runs through the design. The dial extends this language, where haute joaillerie is embedded, with hand-carved aquamarines set into rose gold in irregular spacing that fractures light into submerged, fluid reflections.

Movement Architectural Flow

Inside, the Haute Horlogerie automatic movement is organized around Vianney Halter’s distinctive winding system, with thirty sapphire-clear rubies positioned as functional points within the architecture. The caliber beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 56-hour power reserve, while the bridges are finished by hand with “bercés” curves that soften transitions and replace sharp interruption with continuous visual flow across components.

Developmental Material Logic

Ulysse also carries a three-year development cycle and extended research phase, though these details feel embedded rather than declared. Revisited from its 2024 presentation, the watch settles into Beauregard’s evolving language like a quiet convergence of matter and intention—where gold, stone, and mechanism no longer simply coexist, but drift into a single, breathing continuum.
