The Swiss independent watchmaker ArtyA has dropped their latest timepiece, Purity Wavy Central Tourbillon Magic, and it feels less like a timepiece and more like a wearable installation. Transparency, innovation, and minimalism are the pillars of this line, but with this release, the brand pushes the idea of radical purity further than ever before. 

At the center of the piece is their new in-house caliber, the PUR-T5, a self-winding movement that features a central 19 mm flying tourbillon that serves as the dial, translating hours, minutes, and seconds into a kinetic performance. Running at 4 Hz and backed by a 72-hour power reserve from twin barrels, the movement is built with real technical depth and is visually hypnotizing. 

The case, a 40 mm structure carved entirely from sapphire, comes alive under light thanks to a multicolored, wavy anti-reflective treatment that shifts tone as you move your wrist. The front, back, and even the crown are all sapphire. Water resistance sits at 30 meters, but let's be real, nobody’s strapping this on for a swim. It’s about presence, not practicality.
