KB Hong's Fall/Winter 2025 Collection Celebrates The Best Of East And West

KB Hong by K-Boxing’s strong connection between East and West gives the brand a distinct advantage. The creative directors, Hong Boming and Massimo Foroni, each bring their unique backgrounds, allowing the brand to create collections that feel natural and effortless, without appearing forced. This is the advantage of having individuals from diverse backgrounds on the team— the work they produce feels truly original.

For Fall/Winter 2025, KB Hong features a range of standout pieces, such as floral print jumpers, relaxed satin trousers, and an ultra-mini bag that could fit nothing but my patience (just kidding!). The collection also includes the brand's signature overlapping collar detail, which is seen in wide-collared bomber jackets and elongated coats. In addition, some of the jackets and coats have prints that seem to be inspired by Japanese ink painting of birds, adding an artistic edge. In terms of accessories, there were modern briefcases with tassels and intricate woven details in both patent and smooth leather. They were impeccably structured, though a medium-sized version would elevate their versatility even more.

Some of the best pieces included their beige ensembles, especially a double-breasted suit that looked like it had a "mu smoke" pattern, which also appeared on technical jackets and coats. Another highlight was a relaxed double-breasted navy suit featuring a kimono collar. Lastly, the blue silk satin shirt and matching trousers, complemented by a chic beige coat was a stunning addition to the collection.

If KB Hong ever expands to the Philippines, it’s easy to imagine their designs resonating there, as they have the right amount of edge to appeal to fashion-forward Filipinos. Overall, the collection feels fresh and wearable. The mix of Eastern and Western influences works beautifully, and you can tell there's a lot of thought behind each piece. Honestly, I can’t quite put it into words, but it’s one of those collections that just feels right. It’s cohesive, exciting, and simply beautiful.
