When Dunhill obviously presents their collection in fashion week, it's filled with nothing but classics. Simon Holloway, the brand's creative director, was inspired by European high society for their Fall/Winter 2025 collection. The collection draws inspiration from Holloway's visit to the archives at Hampton Court Palace, where he studied pieces from the Duke of Windsor’s wardrobe. Additionally, the brand's Instagram account has referenced the Milanese private members’ club established in 1783 several times, cementing the collection’s aristocratic influences.

The runway was, as expected, full of impeccably tailored suits and a few tuxedos, though there wasn’t a standout piece that truly took your breath away. Oh, how I miss the collection from Spring 2022. Remember the oversized vest they did? That said, Holloway excels at reinterpreting the house's codes. If you miss the more fashion-forward Dunhill (which only lasted for a short time), this collection might not be for you.

For Fall/Winter 2025, Dunhill pays homage to the deep, luxurious textures of fall dressing. The collection features coats, blazers, and suits crafted from traditional British fabrics such as Melton, Donegal tweed, wool whipcord, and cashmere tartan. Eveningwear is well represented too, with luxurious velvet tuxedos, tartan suits, bow ties, scarves, and pocket squares.

Some of the standout pieces include smoking jackets in silk and wool twill—delicate yet structured, tailored corduroy trousers that offer a nod to classic British style, and a paisley-printed trench coat that adds old-world charm to the collection. There are also exquisite crocodile-embossed leather goods, including briefcases and tote bags, which further elevate the luxurious appeal of the collection. However, not all elements hit the mark. The hats, seen in some looks, detract from the sharp tailoring of the pieces and feel a bit out of place. They disrupt the otherwise clean lines and polished aesthetic, which may be a minor distraction for those who appreciate Dunhill’s usual precision.

This collection feels aimed at the modern high society man—those who frequent exclusive clubs like Mark’s Club in London, The Tanglin Club in Singapore, or The Core Club in New York City, where entrepreneurs, celebrities, and rising political stars convene. The collection is versatile, suitable for everything from office wear to formal dinners and events. However, for those seeking a bit more risk and excitement in their wardrobe, this may feel like a safe bet.
