For Bottega Veneta’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, the house presented a fusion of utilitarian elegance infused with nostalgic nods to the iconic styles of the 60s and 70s. Under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, the collection showcased his flair for crafting both sartorially exquisite and commercially compelling designs. A total of 73 looks graced the runway, each exuding an undeniable beauty.

The collection includes impeccably tailored suiting options for both men and women, featuring a greenish-beige suit with a classic Glen check pattern similar to the suits popularized during the ‘60s and ‘70s. Reinventing the brand's signature intrecciato technique, the house introduced a range of ready-to-wear ensembles, such as a dark blue skirt cleverly layered with trousers, evoking the appearance of denim from a distance. This innovative reinterpretation added new life to the brand's renowned weaving tradition.

For comfort and ease, the collection featured an array of luxurious sleepwear essentials, including cozy briefs, boxer shorts, and singlet tops designed to prioritize comfort without compromising on style. Channeling nautical motifs, some pieces showcased vibrant blue and red stripe details, creating standout looks like a matching shirt and full skirt with these lively patterns. To add whimsy to this nautical theme, the collection featured an eye-catching fish-shaped bag with a delightful palette of orange, burgundy, and pastel blue hues.

Dramatic silhouettes took center stage with coats featuring voluminous sleeves, adding a sense of theatrical flair to the collection. Notable highlights included an exquisite olive-brown leather jacket paired effortlessly with navy blue Bermuda shorts and knee-high boots, as well as a pastel pink intrecciato shirt harmoniously matched with coordinating pants. Meanwhile, a pastel yellow sleeveless V-neck elegantly layered with a suede skirt and trousers epitomized refined sophistication. Lastly, the collection also includes short shorts paired with a crisp white shirt and beige coat, accessorized with a vibrant Andiamo bag in bold orange—creating a look that embodies contemporary elegance and urban sophistication.
