Yesterday, we were served a Borderline ad: a cardigan that felt chic, cozy, and just a little too polished. The kind of knit that could sit somewhere between a Kenzo archive pull and a hyper-curated concept store rack. The campaign image was almost too clean—so much so that we couldn’t tell whether we were looking at an AI-generated visual or a photographer and retoucher operating on god-tier levels of talent. Honestly, it didn’t matter. It worked. We clicked.


A quick Google dive reveals that Borderline positions itself as a fashion label redefining design through AI—less about simply making clothes, more about pushing toward thoughtful design and longevity. There’s surprisingly little information available, which only makes them more intriguing. From what we can tell, this feels like a genuine early find (no promises—we could be wrong, but you get the idea).


The piece that pulled us in, the Cardigan Jacket “Cenere,” is already sold out. Retailing at 21,800 PHP, it’s made from a natural yarn blend of 90% extrafine merino wool and 10% cashmere. Details include an asymmetrical closure, two horn buttons, and a reported weight of 1.5kg—basically a wearable upper-body workout, but make it luxury.



What really seals the deal is Borderline’s digital product passport. Each piece transparently shows where materials are sourced and where production happens. In this case: made in Italy, with the majority of materials sourced locally. Quiet luxury people, pencils out, take notes!

Design-wise, the brand leans hard into oversized silhouettes—voluminous sleeves, ultra-wide trousers—with clear Japanese influence and limited drops.
