Sinéad Burke, a Dublin-based teacher, PhD student, and activist, is not your average fashion icon. Standing at just over three and a half feet tall, she’s redefining what it means to be stylish, inclusive, and unstoppable.

Burke graduated at the at the top of her class from the Marino Institute of Education, where she trained as a primary school teacher, and she holds a Masters of Arts from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. She is also the founder of the accessibility consulting firm, Tilting The Lens where she helps brands create more inclusive practices, policies, products, services, places, and promotions. Her firm isn’t just about raising awareness; it’s about driving tangible action, ensuring that accessibility isn’t an afterthought but an integral part of every decision.

Burke's commitment to making the world a more inclusive place hasn't gone unnoticed. She's been honored with the Vere Foster Medal from the Marino Institute of Education, recognizing her outstanding contributions to education and advocacy. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for several organizations, including the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, A Lust for Life, and the Irish Girl Guides, further amplifying her impact on society.

In 2019, Burke became the first person to grace the cover of any Vogue magazine, a milestone that reverberated throughout the fashion world and beyond. It was a powerful statement that challenged the industry to confront its biases and embrace diversity in all its forms.
