Setchu's Fall 2024 collection was a fusion of minimalist and maximalist elements, showcasing the brand's ability to marry various elements. At the forefront of the collection were utilitarian staples elevated to new heights, including denim utility jackets and glossy teal coats that are very practical. These pieces spoke to Setchu's commitment to creating garments that are unisex, simple, and functional. 

Some of the best pieces were Setcu's signature designs, characterized by marked folding creases, collarless Oxford shirts, and Bermuda pants with wide pleats. The full tartan look was a clear nod to the founder's experiences living in London, a look that seamlessly blended Japanese influences with Western sensibilities. However, the addition of a small string wrapped around the model's chest detracted from an otherwise impeccable design, leaving a slightly off-key feeling.

In contrast, one of the collection’s highlights was a striking leather blazer paired with a draped jacket enveloping the body, paired with sheer, loose trousers. This look is very sophisticated and refined, as it blends contrasting textures and silhouettes with effortless grace. The floral blazer was juxtaposed with a vibrant yellow shirt and pleated Bermuda shorts, revealing Setchu's ability to infuse Eastern elements into Western attire. The intricate print is very captivating, and it adds elegance and whimsy to the look. 

However, what truly set Setchu's Fall 2024 collection apart was its impeccable styling, expertly curated to showcase the versatility of each piece. Overall, their collection blends utilitarianism with Eastern motifs and Western aesthetics to create a unique narrative, underscoring the brand's commitment to innovation and sartorial excellence.
